How We’re Responding to the Coronavirus

PLEASE NOTE: Below notice effective from March 2020 – June 2021

Dear Valued Customers,

couple at home on couchThe COVID-19 pandemic and the steps taken to reduce the transmission of this virus are unprecedented. As we navigate these challenging times, our top priority is to keep our customers and associates safe.

Many states have issued statewide orders to “Stay at Home”, including Ohio and California.  Additionally, other states have closed non-essential businesses.  As we have reviewed these orders and businesses such as Clearwater fall into the “Essential” category and are permitted to remain open.  This essential categorization is based on the guidelines provided by the CISA in their guidance on maintaining critical infrastructure workforce, which includes water.   Also, the Water Quality Association (WQA), our industry’s association, has posted an open letter to the White House and Congress sharing the position of the role we play in safeguarding America’s drinking water.

Clearwater Systems is following the guidance of global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are reminding our associates about frequent hand washing and we are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our facilities and equipment. More importantly, we are requiring associates to stay home from work if they feel sick or if there are individuals in their household that are sick. We have provided additional sick time availability to all our associates to practically adhere to this recommendation.

For all our retail operations, we are imposing a two-customer limit within our locations. This is for the safety of our customers and associates. Signage will ask customers to wait outside or in their cars until we can service them. We will also be expanding our delivery service at our locations, so if there are supplies you require, we can provide direct delivery to your location, which minimizes the need to gather in large groups.

For our field associates including delivery drivers, service professionals, and water specialists, we are providing additional personal safety tools such as gloves, eye protection, and sanitizing supplies to further reduce the potential spread of germs.

We will continue to take the necessary steps to keep our customers and associates healthy and safe. Thank you for your trust and loyalty. Our team will do its best during these challenging times to continue to earn it.
